I cannot believe I’m only 1.6 pounds away from meeting my July goal weight…how insane! If you haven’t read my last blog post I pretty much challenged myself to go from 282 to 275 by my birthday (July 31) I started this challenge for myself just this past Monday so it hasn’t even been a week and I have already lost 6.2 pounds in the past few days! I decided that I am going to focus on my goal weight being anywhere from 265 to 270 pounds by end of July.
I made major changes to my everyday life this week and I know that’s what really helping me;
- I started fasting again but I am sticking to fully doing 16 hours or more everyday. I think there was only one day that I did 14 hours which is still good.
- I also watch what I eat; I am cutting back on sugar and carbs a lot. I am someone who ate a ton of sugar and carbs without a care honestly and this is such a shock for my body. I have still enjoyed a few treats but I make sure I don’t go over my sugar intake for the day (I track my meals on myfitnesspal) that helps me to make sure I’m not over eating on anything.
- I am getting in the habit of drinking a ton more water. I take my hydro flask water bottle that’s 40 oz with me everywhere I go and I try to refill it at least 3 times a day.
- Lastly I am working out almost everyday this week. I don’t do anything too crazy, I try to do some sort of cardio whether its elliptical or walking for at least 30 minutes then I’ll do some weight training a few times a week.
I’m so excited for this journey! Lets kick this July challenges butt!
