2019 Goals!

Happy New Year!!! I cannot believe that 2018 is over; it went by so so so quick. 2018 was an ok year for me, it wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst either; however, I am hoping to make 2019 my best year yet!

Every year I make new year resolutions and I never ever stick to it; well this year I really want to make goals rather than resolutions and I am going to try my hardest to stick to it and reach my goals.

Here are some of my goals for 2019:

  • Live a healthier lifestyle by drinking more water, exercising at least 3 to 4 times a week, and eating healthier.
  • Try to control and get rid of my OCD as much as possible; my OCD has gotten so bad in the last year with making sure everything is locked and that my alarms are on, etc. It is really really affecting me and I want to change it once and for all.m
  • Care less about what people think. I am so sensitive, emotional and such a people pleaser and I hate it…
  • Read at least one book a month, I have so many books that I have bought and haven’t read yet so my goal is to read more and hopefully blog about it.
  • Stop Procrastinating.
  • Practice photography and become more comfortable with manual setting rather than automatic.
  • Become more confident.
  • Be more positive.
  • Save more money and to stop spending on stuff that we don’t really need.
  • Cook and bake more (especially healthy options) and share here on the blog.
  • Be more in the moment especially with my husband; for example, putting our phones away at least for an hour or so and spending quality time together.
  • Be more active on social media and blogging by commenting on other’s posts and interacting with others more.

Blogmas day 24: Traditions…

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you guys are having a wonderful time with whoever you’re spending time with or if you’re spending it alone, do something special just for yourself!

I wanted to share our very little tradition that my husband and I have for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Usually Christmas Eve we go to my mother in laws house to spend time with them, open presents and eat tamales… yum!

Christmas Day we usually spend with my family! We open presents then usually my niece and I will decorate cookies together!

That’s really the only traditions we have, I’m hoping once we have our own family we can make more traditions!

Blogmas Day 21: what I love about Christmas!

Christmas time is literally my favorite time of the year! I love how magical everything is around that time and let’s not forget about the beautiful amazing decorations everywhere! There’s just something about Christmas time that it makes everyone extra friendly!

I love being able to spend more time with my husband and family during the holidays and surprising my niece and nephew with presents and seeing their reactions is just my favorite!

Can we also take a second to talk about the yummy food and drinks during the holidays like the peppermint mocha drinks… yum!!!

Blogmas Day 20: where I want to be in 5 years!

In 5 years I would love for my husband and I to be parents and to be homeowners! Those are the two things we really want! I would like for us to have a successful career that brings in lots of money! I will also love for us to be living a healthy lifestyle meaning eating better and exercising on a daily basis! I don’t really have anything else that I can think of…

It’s so hard to know what the future holds, but we can only dream right?

Life can get so crazy sometimes and we can easily get stressed out! It’s so important for us to find time to relax, so I wanted to take a second to write down a few ways that I like to relax:

  • Drink tea – something about a tea really helps me relax!
  • Reading a book.
  • Watching movies or videos on YouTube!
  • Cooking/baking
  • Listening to music.
  • Sometimes driving really helps me relax.
  • Massage.
  • Taking a bath!
